Hooded
Quilted Puffer
A light hooded puffer in a scalloped quilt, with a zip front and side pockets. Four colours.
The quilt is the shape. It is not a grid.
A quilt pattern is a structural decision
Square quilting is quick to sew and leaves the fill in boxes that slide. A scalloped, overlapping pattern traps each pocket of fill against the one below it, which is why a jacket like this can stay light and still hold its loft across the back.
Light fill, fixed hood
It has a lightweight puffer with a quilted body, a fixed hood and a full-length zip, breathable and light enough to layer under or over other pieces.
The gallery shows four colours on the same cut: a cream, a camel, a black and a red.
How it wears

Why it costs what it costs
Every seam in a quilted shell is a hole in the insulation, so the more decorative the pattern the more heat it loses. Getting a scalloped quilt to look like this and still hold warmth means the stitch density has to be judged against the fill, not against the drawing.
