Sunglasses Case
A soft woven case in black, sized for a pair of sunglasses and built to go in a bag rather than sit on a shelf.
A soft case, made to protect a pair of sunglasses inside a bag.
The thing that decides how long a pair lasts
Almost every frame that gets scratched, bent or snapped was in a bag without a case. This is the plain fix: a soft woven sleeve that a pair of sunglasses slides into, sized so it holds them rather than letting them rattle, and flexible enough that it actually gets carried instead of left at home.
Supplied in a single black finish, one size.
Woven, soft, flat
The body is a woven finish in black, soft enough to fold into a bag and dense enough that a key or a pen does not press straight through. It lies flat rather than holding a box shape, which is the difference between a case you carry and one you leave in a drawer.
It is sized for a standard pair of sunglasses — wide enough for an oversized front, long enough that folded temples are not forced. There is no zip and no clasp: the pair slides in and the opening closes over it.
A soft case. A hard case protects better against a direct crush; a soft one gets carried more often, which is usually what matters.
What it is for
- Sized to hold a standard pair of sunglasses, including an oversized front
- Soft body, so it folds into a bag rather than taking up a block of space
- Woven finish, dense enough to keep a key from pressing through
- No zip and no clasp — the pair slides in and the opening closes over it
- A spare case for the pair you already own, or a second for the car
Why a case at all
A lens does not usually get scratched by being worn. It gets scratched loose in a bag, against a set of keys, or wiped dry when it is dusty. A case removes the first two, and the cloth that comes with a pair removes the third.
This is a soft case rather than a hard shell. It protects against abrasion and small knocks, not against being sat on.
One case, one colour
Supplied in a single black finish, one size.
Why it costs what it costs
A soft case is a simple thing and it should not be expensive. What it should be is correctly sized and densely woven — a case that is too small forces the temples, and a loose weave lets everything through.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so it costs roughly what a case ought to cost rather than what an accessory bought alongside a frame usually costs.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the price
- Sized for an oversized front rather than a narrow one
- Dense woven body rather than a thin sleeve
- Folds flat into a bag instead of holding a box shape
- A spare for a pair you already own

1 × Woven sunglasses case
Will it fit an oversized frame?
It is cut for a standard pair including an oversized front. A very wide wraparound sports frame is the one shape that may not go in comfortably.
Is it a hard case?
No, it is soft. A hard shell protects better against a direct crush; a soft case folds into a bag, which means it actually gets carried.
Does it come with a pair of sunglasses?
No. This is the case on its own — a spare, or a second one to leave in the car.
Does it have a zip?
No. The opening closes over the pair rather than fastening, which is what lets it fold flat.
How should it be cleaned?
Wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry flat. Do not put it in a machine — a woven case loses its shape.
Is there more than one colour?
No. It is supplied in black, one size.
One case, held in a small run
This is stocked in small quantities alongside the frames rather than carried as a line of its own. It is the cheapest thing on the site and the one that saves the most money.
Add it to the bag with a pair, or on its own as a spare. If it is not what you expected, send it back.
