Woven Chain Clutch
A woven vegan leather clutch on a chain strap, with a frame that closes on itself. Seven colours.
Woven vegan leather with a metal chain shoulder strap.
A clutch you do not have to hold
The problem with a clutch is that it occupies a hand all evening. Putting a chain on one solves it without turning the bag into something else — the body still gathers and closes like a clutch, it just no longer needs you to carry it.
Shown here in black. Seven colours are offered.
Woven body, gathered top
The body is woven vegan leather with a gathered top that meets at a small central catch, so the bag closes on itself rather than on a zip.
The strap is a metal chain long enough to carry the bag on the shoulder.
How it carries
- A gathered clutch body with a central catch
- A metal chain for the shoulder
- A woven exterior over the whole body
- No external pockets and no visible zip
- Seven colours on the same build
The product
Vegan leather in a distinctive woven look, in a clutch with a shoulder strap, made for dinners, city outings and events.
Seven colours
Listed at checkout as Black, Coffee, Burgundy, Creme, Beige, Olive green and Pink. The weave, the catch and the chain are the same in all seven.
Why it costs what it costs
A gathered top only sits right if the weave is cut on the correct line, because a woven panel pulled the wrong way loses the even pleat that the whole shape depends on.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A woven exterior rather than a printed one
- A metal chain, not a fabric cord
- A clutch shape that still frees both hands
- Seven colours at one price

1 × Julia Woven Chain Clutch
How big is it?
It is an evening clutch.
Is it real leather?
No. It is made in vegan leather.
Does it zip shut?
No. The top gathers and meets at a central catch.
Which colour is the safest choice?
Black. The creme is the one that shows marks first.
How should it be cleaned?
A dry cloth along the weave. Keep the chain away from perfume.
Seven colours, held in a small run
This is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously. When a colour goes it is not automatically repeated.
Pick your colour above and add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
