Waffle-Knit
Mock Neck
An oversized waffle-knit jumper with a mock neck, dropped shoulders and side splits. Seven colours.
The hem splits at the side. It sits over a waistband instead of gripping it.
A waffle traps air the way a flat knit cannot
A plain knit is one surface. A waffle is a grid of raised squares with hollows between them, and those hollows hold still air against the body. It is the same reason a waffle towel dries faster than a flat one — surface area, not thickness.
Waffle texture, dropped shoulder
A winter jumper knitted for warmth without losing breathability, worn with jeans, skirts or trousers alike.
It is oversized in a waffle knit, with a short mock-neck collar, dropped shoulders, full sleeves into ribbed cuffs, and a ribbed hem split at both sides.
How it wears
- A short mock-neck collar
- Dropped shoulders and full sleeves
- A waffle texture across the body
- A ribbed hem split at both sides
- Seven colours
The product
A winter jumper with the warmth of a heavy knit and the breathability of a waffle: relaxed enough for a night in, neat enough to wear out.
Seven colours
Dark grey, green, taupe, rust, purple, brown and black. Check the options above for what is in stock.
Why it costs what it costs
A waffle stitch pulls in on itself as it comes off the machine, so the panel has to be knitted wider than the finished measurement and then allowed to settle. Getting that shrinkage right is the difference between an oversized jumper and one that simply came out the wrong size.
