Woven Pouch
A gathered woven pouch on a thin cord strap, cut small enough for an evening. Six colours.
Vegan leather, woven, with a gathered top that closes on itself.
A pouch that closes by folding, not by clasping
There is no clasp and no zip on the outside. The top is gathered so the two sides fold in on each other, which is why the bag reads as one soft shape rather than as a lid on a box. The weave runs across the whole body, including the parts that fold.
Shown here in black. Six colours are offered.
Woven vegan leather, gathered top
The body is vegan leather cut into strips and woven, then gathered at the top so the opening closes on itself. It is a mini pouch rather than a day bag: a phone, a card holder and a lipstick.
The strap is a thin cord rather than a flat band, which keeps the weight of the eye on the body of the bag instead of on the shoulder line.
How it carries
- A gathered top that closes on itself, with no clasp to catch
- Woven vegan leather across the whole body
- A thin cord strap rather than a flat band
- Sized for a phone, a card holder and a lipstick
- Six colours, from black to denim blue
The product
Vegan leather, woven, in a mini pouch shape with a shoulder strap. It is made for everyday outings, dinners and events.
Six colours
Listed at checkout as Black, Burgundy, White, Coffee, Red and Denim. The shape, the weave and the strap are the same in all six.
Why it costs what it costs
Weaving a body by hand and then gathering it at the top is two operations where a plain pouch is one, and the weave has to be tensioned evenly or the gather pulls crooked.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Woven vegan leather rather than a printed weave
- A gathered closure with no hardware to fail
- A thin cord strap that keeps the shape clean
- Six colours at one price

1 × Sarah Woven Pouch
How big is it?
It is a mini pouch for a phone, a card holder and a lipstick.
How does it close?
The top is gathered so the sides fold in on each other. There is no clasp and no external zip.
Is it real leather?
No. It is made in vegan leather.
Can it be worn across the body?
Yes. It has a shoulder strap.
Which colour is the safest choice?
Black. The denim blue and the red are the two that read as a choice.
How should it be cleaned?
A dry cloth worked along the weave rather than across it.
Six colours, held in a small run
A woven body is slow to make, so this is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously.
Pick your colour above and add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
