An adjustable bangle is a spring, not a hinge
The wire runs through a bead at each end and slides against itself, so the metal has to hold its shape after being opened and closed hundreds of times. A softer alloy would go slack in a month.
A charm, three feathers, one bangle
It is a handmade bracelet in silver and steel, fully adjustable to any wrist, hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant and free of nickel, lead and cadmium, supplied as two units in a recycled card box with a message.
The bangle photographed is a fine slide-adjustable band carrying a round openwork dreamcatcher charm set with a stone, with three small feathers hanging from it and a bead either side.
