Compact Flap
Shoulder Bag
A low, curved flap bag in a smooth white finish, on a short adjustable strap, with a gold plaque on the flap.
Cut low and wide, to sit flat in the armpit rather than hang.
Wide rather than deep, on purpose
The body is long from end to end and shallow front to back, and the base curves up at the corners. That is what makes it disappear under the arm: there is nothing sticking out to catch on a coat, and nothing to swing when you walk.
Listed at checkout in white. The same bag is listed separately in black.
Smooth finish, sliding strap
The face is smooth and unquilted over a body that keeps its shape empty, and a gold plaque sits on the flap, which folds down over the front and closes underneath.
The strap runs through two sliders rather than a buckle, so the drop shortens or lengthens by hand without a hole to line up, and the flap opens on to a single main compartment.
The finish is a leather look.
How it carries
- A low, wide body that tucks under the arm
- A curved base rather than a flat one
- A strap that slides shorter or longer
- A smooth face with no quilting or print
- One colour here — black is listed separately
The product
An elegant silhouette, a spacious interior for daily essentials and a comfortable shoulder carry, for work, travel, shopping and special occasions.
One colour
Listed at checkout in white. The same bag is listed separately in black.
Why it costs what it costs
A curved base is cut and stitched in three pieces rather than one, because a flat panel cannot be bent into that shape without creasing. It is more work at the bench and it is the only reason the bag sits the way it does.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A curved, shaped base rather than a flat one
- A strap that adjusts by sliders, not holes
- A structured body that holds its shape empty
- One colour, one price

1 × Compact Flap Shoulder Bag
How big is it?
It is a small, low shoulder bag.
Is there a black one?
Yes. The same bag is listed separately in black.
Does the strap adjust?
Yes. It runs through two sliders, so the drop can be shortened or lengthened by hand.
Is the small round case included?
No. A small round case is shown beside the bag but is not included.
What material is it?
The finish is a leather look.
Will a white bag mark?
A pale smooth finish shows scuffs before it stains. A soft dry cloth used early is the whole routine.
One colour, held in a small run
This is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously. When it goes it is not automatically repeated.
Add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
