Gather a soft body at the top and knot the handle through it, and the bag makes its own silhouette — pinched in the middle, full at the sides. Nothing inside it holds that shape; the knot does.

The body is faux leather, soft rather than structured, gathered where the handle passes through so the bag pinches at the top and fills out at the sides.
Both a shoulder strap and a crossbody strap are supplied, so it can be carried three ways.

Why it costs what it costs
A gathered body has to be cut larger than the bag it makes, because the material that pinches at the handle is material you pay for and then hide. It is why a structured bag of the same size uses less.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
