The lettering is on the ring, not the dial
The bezel is cut with lettering all the way round, which puts the decoration on the outer ring and leaves the dial with almost nothing on it. That is why the face reads calm even though the watch is not a quiet one.

Engraved bezel, link bracelet
The case is round with a raised bezel ring cut with lettering, and a small crown at three. The dial underneath carries slim hands and small markers only.
The bracelet is a flat link design run in one tone or two depending on the colourway.
Treat it as a dress watch: keep it dry and it will be fine.

Why it costs what it costs
Cutting lettering into a bezel ring is a machining step that has to index evenly around the circle, and a two-tone bracelet means two finishes that have to match at every link.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this watch and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
