The stones are inside, not on the bezel
The setting on this one runs around the inside edge of the dial rather than on the bezel, so it sits under the glass. That keeps the outside of the case smooth and stops the stones collecting anything, and it is the reason the face reads brighter than the case does.

Round case, stone ring under the glass
The case is stainless steel that does not discolour, with a dial measuring 3.57 cm across. A ring of small stones runs around the inner edge of the dial, under a scratch-resistant crystal.
The bracelet is a steel link design at 23 cm long and 2.1 cm wide, adjustable by removing links. Water resistance is 3 bar, which is 30 metres.

Why it costs what it costs
Setting a ring of stones inside the crystal is a different assembly from setting a bezel: it has to be finished before the glass goes on, and there is no correcting it afterwards. Stainless steel also costs more than plated brass and does not discolour.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this watch and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
