Shirred-Hem
V-Neck Top
A loose V-neck top with half sleeves and a shirred band at the hem. Six colours.
The hem is gathered. It holds the shape where a loose top usually loses it.
A gathered hem is what stops a loose top being a sack
Cut wide through the body and a top has no waist at all. Pulling the hem in on a shirred band puts the volume where it is wanted and takes it out where it is not, without a single dart or seam through the front.
Loose above, gathered below
A V-neck top in a soft, breathable fabric, comfortable all day, flattering at the waist and easy to pair with jeans, skirts or shorts.
It has a deep V neck, half-length sleeves cut in one with the body, a loose fit through the chest and a shirred band gathering the hem. Six colours are offered.

Why it costs what it costs
Shirring is rows of elastic stitched one at a time into the cloth, not a casing threaded once. On a hem that is several rows deep, and the tension has to be identical on every one of them or the band twists. It is slow, and it is why a gathered hem holds and a drawstring one does not.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
