Mini Quilted Bag
— White
A small quilted calfskin bag in white, photographed with both gold and silver fittings.
Gold or silver. The gallery shows both.
White leather is the hardest thing to finish
Every handling mark made during assembly stays on a white hide, and the edge paint has to be laid on in thin coats that never yellow. Most of a run in this colour is rejected before it leaves the bench, and that loss is in the price of the ones that pass.
Smooth calfskin, quilted
It is a smooth calfskin with diamond quilting, a lining in soft lambskin or a textile, and gold- or silver-tone metal with lettered charms.
The closure is a zip or a flap. A double leather handle carries it in the hand or on the forearm, and a removable, adjustable chain strap is about 105 cm.
The gallery shows this bag with gold-tone fittings and also with silver-tone fittings and a silver chain.
How it carries
- A double leather handle, hand or forearm
- A removable, adjustable chain at approx. 105 cm
- Gold- or silver-tone fittings
- A lining in lambskin or textile
- Width 17 cm, depth 7 cm
The product
Exterior: smooth calfskin with diamond quilting. Interior lining: soft lambskin or a high-quality textile. Gold- or silver-tone metal with lettered charms. Closure: zip or flap. Double leather handle plus a removable, adjustable shoulder strap approx. 105 cm. Width 17 cm, height 15 cm, depth 7 cm.
What the gallery shows
The same white bag appears with gold-tone fittings and with silver-tone fittings.
Why it costs what it costs
Quilting on white leather doubles the problem: the stitching compresses the hide, and any compression that is uneven catches the light as a shadow rather than hiding in the colour. It is the least forgiving combination in the workshop.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.

- Smooth calfskin, quilted across every face
- Gold or silver fittings, both listed
- A chain that comes off, at about 105 cm
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
