Twist-Front
V-Neck Tee
A V-neck tee with extended cap sleeves and a twisted front hem. Six colours.
The hem is twisted, not knotted. It stays where it is put.
A twist is a dart that shows
Crossing the front hem over itself takes width out of the waist exactly where a dart would, but does it on the outside of the garment where you can see it. The advantage is that it holds in a soft jersey, where a real dart would only pucker.
Soft jersey, twisted at the front
A V-neck shirt made by hand with precision, durable, versatile between day and evening, breathable and available in a range of colours.
The top photographed has a V neck, extended cap sleeves cut in one with the body, and a front hem crossed and twisted at the centre. Six colours appear in the gallery.

Why it costs what it costs
A twist only sits flat if the two halves of the front are cut a different length to begin with, because one of them travels further around the body than the other. Cut them the same and the hem rides up on one side within an hour of wearing it.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the piece
- A twist cut into the pattern, not tied in
- Sleeves cut in one with the body
- Six colours, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
