Vanity Case
on a Chain
A small oval vanity case with a top handle, a zip round the lid and a chain-and-leather strap.
A rigid oval body with a padlock and a detachable strap.
A case, not a bag
The sides are rigid and the lid zips round like a hard case rather than folding over. That is what keeps sunglasses, a compact and a phone from pressing against each other, and it is why a vanity holds its shape empty.
Listed at checkout in brown, in one size.
Rigid body, zip lid
The body is an oval case in coated canvas with dark leather trim, structured so the sides stand on their own, with a short rolled handle on the lid.
The lid zips round the top, a padlock hangs at the front and a chain backed with leather clips on for a crossbody carry.
How it carries
- A rigid case that holds its shape empty
- A zip that runs round the lid
- A short rolled handle on the top
- A chain backed with leather that clips on
- A padlock at the front
The product
An elegant silhouette, a spacious interior for daily essentials and a comfortable shoulder carry, for work, travel, shopping and special occasions.
One colour
Listed at checkout in brown, in one size.
Why it costs what it costs
A round case is the hardest shape to build: the lid and the base have to be formed over a mould and the zip tape eased round a curve without a single pucker, which a flat bag never asks for.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A rigid case rather than a soft pouch
- A zip that runs the whole way round the lid
- A chain backed with leather, and a padlock
- One colour, one price

1 × Vanity Case on a Chain
How big is it?
It is a small vanity case.
What material is it?
A coated canvas body with leather trim.
Does the strap come off?
Yes. It clips to rings at the sides, so it can be removed.
What is the padlock for?
It hangs at the front as a detail. The case itself closes on the zip that runs round the top.
How should it be cleaned?
A damp cloth on the body and a dry one on the trim.
One colour, held in a small run
This is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously. When it goes it is not automatically repeated.
Add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
