Printed Canvas
Flap Bag
A flat flap bag in printed coated canvas, with a gold bar clasp and a chain-and-leather strap.
A flat body, a bar clasp and a chain strap backed with leather.
Flat enough to disappear under a coat
There is almost no depth to this one. It takes a phone, a card holder and a key and nothing else — which is the point: a bag that lies flat against you does not swing, does not catch and does not need thinking about.
Listed at checkout as Monogram Brown, in one size.
Coated canvas, bar clasp
The body is a coated canvas with a repeating printed motif, cut flat and finished with pale leather trim along the edges and the strap tabs.
The flap closes on a horizontal gold bar rather than a turn-lock, and the strap is a flat chain backed with leather so the metal does not sit on the shoulder.
How it carries
- A flat body that lies against the side
- A gold bar clasp rather than a turn-lock
- A chain backed with leather along its length
- A coloured lining, so the inside is easy to see
- One colour, one size
The product
An elegant silhouette, a spacious interior for daily essentials and a comfortable shoulder carry, for work, travel, shopping and special occasions.

Why it costs what it costs
Backing a chain with leather along its whole run is hand work done after the chain is made: the strip is cut, skived and fed through link by link. It is what stops a chain strap sawing at a shoulder.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A chain backed with leather rather than bare metal
- A coated canvas body rather than a printed cloth
- A bar clasp on the flap
- One colour, one price

What material is it?
A coated canvas body with leather trim.
Is there another colour?
No. One colour is listed.
How should it be cleaned?
A damp cloth on the canvas and a dry one on the trim. Keep the clasp away from solvent.
