Sculptural Leather
Bucket Bag — Small
A small black bag built as a flared, faceted shape, with a cast ring where the handles cross.
Taller than it is wide, which almost nothing this size is.
It stands up by itself, empty
The flare from a narrow base to a wide top is cut into the panels, not pressed into them, so the shape is structural. Put it on a table with nothing in it and it holds the silhouette you bought it for.
Smooth leather, leather lined
It has a smooth leather outside and a fine leather lining inside, with gold-coated metal and an open top that holds shut on a magnetic catch.
Two top handles cross through a cast ring at the centre, which is what carries the weight, and the handle height is given at about 12 cm — a hand or forearm carry.
How it carries
- Two top handles, height approx. 12 cm
- In the hand or on the forearm
- A cast metal ring where the handles meet
- An open top with a magnetic catch
- A fine leather lining, not fabric
The product
Exterior: high-quality smooth leather. Interior lining: fine leather. Gold-coated metal. Closure: open design with a magnetic function. Height approx. 25 cm, width approx. 22 cm, depth approx. 10 cm. Handle height approx. 12 cm. Room for a smartphone, wallet, keys and make-up.
One colour
Offered in black. This is the only colour.
Why it costs what it costs
A faceted shape in smooth leather has nowhere to hide: there is no grain to break up the light, so every panel has to be cut true and every seam has to fall exactly on an edge. One millimetre out and the whole silhouette reads crooked.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Smooth leather outside, leather lined inside
- A cast ring, not a stamped fitting
- A structural flare that holds its shape empty
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
