A small trapeze bag in canvas and calf leather, closing on both a zip and a saddle-strap buckle.

A zip under the flap, not instead of it
A saddle flap on a buckle looks right and opens slowly. A zip is fast and safe and looks like nothing. This has both, so the flap can stay unbuckled all day without the bag ever being open.
Canvas body, leather frame
It has a canvas body with calf leather details, a canvas lining and gold-tone metal, in a trapeze shape with a saddle strap over a buckle and a zip beneath it.
The shoulder strap detaches and is about 96 cm, long enough to wear across the body. A dust bag and a box are included.

Why it costs what it costs
Setting a zip into a canvas panel that is framed in leather means three materials meeting along one line, each of which moves differently when it is sewn. Getting that line straight is most of the work in a bag this small.
