Mini Flap Bag
with a Stirrup Clasp
A compact black bag in grained calf and canvas, on a long strap, closing under a cast stirrup clasp.
Ninety-six to a hundred and eighteen centimetres of strap.
Eight centimetres deep on an 18 cm body
That ratio is what makes a small bag usable. Most minis are flat and hold a phone edgewise; this one is nearly half as deep as it is wide, so things sit in it rather than being posted into it.
Grained calf and canvas
It has a grained calf leather combined with canvas outside, a canvas lining inside, and gold- or palladium-coloured metal.
The front flap closes under a cast stirrup-shaped clasp, there is an exterior pocket on the back, and the shoulder strap is adjustable at 96 to 118 cm.
How it carries
- An adjustable strap, approx. 96–118 cm
- Shoulder or across the body
- An exterior pocket on the back
- A canvas lining and a canvas-and-leather body
- Eight centimetres deep
The product
Grained calf leather combined with canvas. Canvas lining. Gold- or palladium-coloured hardware. Front flap with a cast stirrup-shaped clasp. Exterior pocket on the back. Adjustable shoulder strap approx. 96–118 cm. Width 18 cm, height 16 cm, depth 8 cm.
One colour
Offered in black, in grained calf leather combined with canvas.
Why it costs what it costs
The clasp here is cast and polished rather than stamped, which is why the curve holds a continuous highlight along its whole length instead of breaking at the edges. It is also the only ornament on the bag, so there is nothing else for the eye to forgive it with.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Grained calf and canvas, canvas lined
- A cast clasp, not a stamped one
- An outside pocket on the back
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
