A birdseye stitch is two colours pretending to be one
Knit two yarns together in a fine repeating pattern and from a distance the eye reads a single shade with depth in it. Up close it separates into flecks. It is a two-yarn feed on the machine and slower to knit than a plain jersey.

A warm knit with ThermoGuard insulation and a CloudSoft lining, ribbed sleeves and a round neckline, ergonomically cut for freedom of movement.
It is a crew-neck pullover in a fine two-tone birdseye stitch, with a ribbed collar, ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem and a small embroidered motif at the chest. Four colours are offered.

Why it costs what it costs
Ribbing at the collar, cuff and hem is knitted separately and joined under tension, so it pulls in and recovers instead of stretching out. It is three extra pieces and three extra joins on a garment that could have been finished with a plain edge.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
