Brushed Check
Overshirt
A relaxed button-through overshirt in a brushed check, with two flapped chest pockets. Four checks.
Heavy enough to wear as a jacket, cut like a shirt.
A check has to be matched at every seam or it is obvious
Lines that do not meet across a pocket, a placket or a shoulder are the first thing anyone notices on a check. Matching them costs cloth, because every panel has to be cut on the repeat rather than nested tight.
Brushed cloth, buttoned through
A long-sleeved plaid flannel in premium materials, soft, warm, relaxed in fit and easy to care for.
The piece photographed buttons through the front, with a collar, two flapped chest pockets, long sleeves with a buttoned cuff, a relaxed cut and a dipped hem at the back. Four checks appear in the gallery.

The product
Crafted from premium materials for luxurious softness, warm without compromising style, relaxed in fit for layering, and durable and easy to care for in everyday wear.
Four checks
A camel, a pink, a black and white and a red and white. Check the options above for what is in stock.
Why it costs what it costs
Flapped pockets on a check are the worst place to get the pattern wrong, because the flap sits directly over the body and any mismatch reads as a broken line. Each flap has to be cut individually from the right part of the repeat.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the piece
- A check matched across the pockets and front
- Two flapped chest pockets
- Four checks, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
