Dome Earrings

Smooth teardrop earrings on a post fitting, 14K gold plated. Two finishes.

Gold teardrop dome earrings

A smooth dome is the hardest finish to polish. Every tool mark stays visible.

01 The idea

A plain curved surface has to be polished, not disguised

There is no texture and no facet to break up a reflection, so the shape is judged entirely on how evenly the light runs across it. Any flat spot in the curve shows up as a line that should not be there.

02 The product

Two tones, one shape

Earrings meticulously crafted and 14K gold plated, versatile and designed to enhance any outfit.

The earrings photographed are a smooth teardrop dome on a post and butterfly fitting, wider at the base than the top. Two finishes appear in the gallery.

Meticulously crafted and 14K gold plated for a luxurious finish, versatile enough to wear with anything.

Silver

A gold and a silver. Check the options above for what is in stock.

06 The value

Why it costs what it costs

A dome this size is normally built hollow, because a solid one would be too heavy to hang from a post all day. Hollow means forming, joining and then polishing until the join cannot be found.

We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.

  • Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the pair
  • A dome polished rather than textured
  • A post fitting rather than a hook
  • Two finishes, one style
  • Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
