Woven Handbag
with a Framed Top
A large woven handbag with a framed opening, a suede-lined interior, a top handle and a bar closure.
Forty and a half centimetres wide, and it opens right down.
The front folds down, so you see everything at once
The top frame lets the front panel drop away rather than gaping through a zip. On a bag 40 cm across that is the difference between finding something and excavating for it.
Woven body, suede inside
The body is woven in a natural fibre in a raised basket pattern, framed at the top in leather, with a suede-toned interior and a leather divider running down the middle.
It has a double turn-lock in gold-tone metal, two interior pockets, metal feet under the base and an adjustable leather handle at about 32 to 48 cm. The whole bag is about 1.25 kg.
How it carries
- An adjustable handle, approx. 32–48 cm
- A framed top that folds the front away
- Two interior pockets and a leather divider
- Metal feet under the base
- Approx. 1.25 kg

Why it costs what it costs
A framed opening is the most demanding part of any bag: the metal has to be set true along its whole run or the two halves will not meet. On a 40 cm frame that is a long way for anything to go wrong.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A framed top that folds the front away
- Two interior pockets and a leather divider
- Metal feet, so the base stays off the floor
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
