Cut across the grain and chiffon stretches as it is sewn, so a diagonal hem wanders unless it is handled slowly and hung before finishing. Four of them on one dress is four chances to get it wrong.

Chiffon has no body of its own, so every layer has to be cut flat, hung to drop and only then hemmed, or the finished dress hangs unevenly within a week. That waiting time is the cost nobody can see in the garment.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
