Quilted Tote
— Small, Beige
The small version of the quilted tote, in beige calfskin with black leather handles and a lettered charm.
Twenty-three centimetres. The tote shape, at handbag size.
A tote small enough to be a handbag
Shrinking a tote usually ruins it — the proportions stop working and it reads as a toy. At 23 by 14 with a 12 cm depth this one keeps the flare of the full-size shape while holding a phone, a card case, sunglasses, keys and a lipstick.
Beige calfskin, black handles
It has calfskin with a large-scale diamond quilting in beige, a removable interior pocket and a metal clasp in a gold- or silver-tone finish.
The handles are black leather against the beige body and adjust through a 9 to 19 cm drop, with a lettered metal charm hanging at the front.
How it carries
- Leather handles, adjustable 9–19 cm
- A hand or arm carry rather than a shoulder one
- A removable interior pocket
- Black handles against a beige body
- The smallest of three sizes in this design
The product
Calfskin with large-scale diamond quilting in beige. Removable interior pocket. Metal clasp in a gold- or silver-tone finish. Lettered metal charm. Adjustable leather handles approx. 9–19 cm. Width 23 cm, height 14 cm, depth 12 cm.
One colour
Offered in beige with black leather handles. Larger sizes of the same design are listed separately.
Why it costs what it costs
Two-tone construction doubles the cutting work and leaves nowhere for a mismatched edge to hide: the black handle meets the beige body at a seam that is on show from every angle, so the edge paint has to change colour cleanly at exactly the right point.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
