Curved Flap Bag
with a Wide Strap
A black calfskin flap bag with a curved base, a magnetic monogram clasp and a wide embroidered strap.
A five-centimetre strap. It does not cut in.
Strap width is the comfort spec nobody quotes
Five centimetres across is roughly three times a typical strap. Spread the same 530 grams over three times the area and the bag stops digging into a shoulder after an hour — which is the only reason wide straps exist.
Calfskin, goatskin lining
It has smooth black calfskin outside and a lining combining goatskin and calfskin, with antique gold-tone metal and a flap that closes on a magnetic monogram clasp.
The strap is wide — about 5 cm — embroidered along its length, adjustable from about 97 to 117 cm, and removable. There is an outer pocket on the back and a compartment inside.
How it carries
- A wide strap of approx. 5 cm, embroidered
- Adjustable 97–117 cm, and removable
- A magnetic clasp rather than a buckle to undo
- An outer pocket on the back
- Approx. 530 g

Why it costs what it costs
A goatskin lining is chosen over a textile one because it does not pill and does not tear when a key catches it. It costs several times as much and nobody sees it, which is exactly why it tells you something about the rest of the bag.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
