Curved Flap Bag
in Smooth Calf
A pale smooth calf leather flap bag with a curved base, a monogram clasp and a short adjustable strap.
A 48–57 cm strap — it carries high, right under the arm.
A strap cut to carry high
At 48 to 57 centimetres the bag sits right under the arm, which is the proportion a curved flap was drawn for. It keeps the shape close to the body instead of swinging at the hip.
Smooth calf, textile lining
It has smooth calf leather outside and a soft textile lining inside, with gold-tone metal and a monogram clasp on the flap over a curved body.
The strap is adjustable from about 48 to 57 cm, worn on the shoulder or across the body.
How it carries
- An adjustable strap, approx. 48–57 cm
- A curved base under a clean flap
- A soft textile lining
- Smooth calf leather
- One colour, one version
The product
Smooth calf leather. Soft textile lining. Gold-tone hardware. Adjustable shoulder strap approx. 48–57 cm, worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody. Width 22 cm, height 17 cm, depth 7 cm.
One version
Offered in pale smooth calf. The same design with a wide 97–117 cm strap is listed separately, in black.
Why it costs what it costs
A smooth pale calf is the hardest combination in the workshop: nothing hides a mark, a stretch or an uneven edge, so the hide has to be near-perfect before it is cut. Most of a batch never makes it to a bag like this.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Smooth calf leather with a soft textile lining
- A strap that adjusts through 9 cm
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
