East-West Flap Bag
on a Long Chain
A slim horizontal flap bag in calf leather, with a monogram clasp, embossed lettering behind and a long chain.
Four hundred and ninety grams, chain included.
Wide and low, so it reads as a line rather than a shape
An east-west proportion — wider than it is tall — sits along the body instead of hanging off it. On a long chain that is the difference between a bag you are carrying and a bag you are wearing.
Calf leather, antique gold
It has calf leather outside with a lined interior, and antique gold-tone hardware, with a monogram clasp on the front and lettering embossed into the back panel.
The chain detaches and carries a leather detail along its run; it runs about 118 to 128 cm, which covers a shoulder carry and a crossbody one. The whole bag is about 490 grams.
How it carries
- A detachable chain of approx. 118–128 cm
- A monogram clasp on the front panel
- Lettering embossed into the back panel
- Approx. 490 g, chain included
- Two colourways at checkout
The product
Calf leather. Lined interior. Antique gold-tone hardware with a monogram clasp. Detachable chain with a leather detail, approx. 118–128 cm, carried as a handbag, shoulder bag or crossbody. Width 21 cm, height 12 cm, depth 5–6 cm. Weight approx. 490 g.
Two colourways
Black with gold and white with gold, each selectable at checkout.
Why it costs what it costs
Embossing lettering into a back panel is done before the bag is assembled, under a heated die, and it cannot be corrected afterwards. A panel that comes out shallow or crooked is scrapped rather than sold, which is a cost that never appears on a spec sheet.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Calf leather with antique gold-tone hardware
- A chain that detaches, at two carrying lengths
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
