Sunglasses
A rimless angular lens hung from a thin silver double bar, with a silver detail set into each lens. One size, UV400.
UV400 protection, blocking 100% of UVA and UVB radiation.
Almost nothing, precisely placed
There is no rim at all. The lens is cut as an angular hexagon and hung from a fine silver double bar that crosses the brow, with a small silver detail set into the lens itself at each outer edge. On the face it reads as two floating shapes and a line — which is the whole point of building a frame this way.
Supplied in a single silver colourway, one size.
Hung from a double bar
Two fine metal bars run across the brow — one at eyebrow height and one forming the bridge — and the lens is mounted to them with nothing holding its lower or outer edge. What you see below the bar is a cut edge of lens and the light coming through it.
A small silver-tone detail is set into the lens at each outer edge, where the temple begins. The arms are fine metal running back to a moulded tip. It has a high-quality PC build, chosen to take an impact.
The lenses carry UV400 protection and a high-quality PC construction.
Where it sits
- An angular lens that sits close to the eye rather than covering the socket
- No rim below or outside the lens, so nothing sits in the line of sight
- The upper bar sits along the line of the eyebrow rather than above it
- A rimless lens is structural — handle the pair by the arms rather than the lens
- One size — cut to a standard narrow width rather than to a range
The protection figure
The lenses carry UV400 protection, blocking 100% of UVA and UVB radiation. UV400 is the number worth reading on any pair — it describes what the lens filters out, and it is independent of how dark the tint looks.
The lens is a warm grey-brown tint.
One frame, three views
Supplied in one silver colourway and one size.
Why it costs what it costs
A rimless lens is more work than a framed one, not less. Each lens has to be cut to an exact angular shape and drilled without cracking, and the bar has to hold it square with nothing underneath supporting it. Setting a detail into the lens itself is a further operation again.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between the frame and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price. What that money pays for instead is the build — a drilled rimless mount, metal hardware and a UV400 lens.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the frame
- UV400 stated, blocking 100% of UVA and UVB
- Drilled rimless mounting instead of a glued rim
- Metal double bar rather than a moulded plastic front

Are rimless sunglasses fragile?
The lens itself is structural, so it is a high-impact plastic rather than a brittle one. Handle them by the arms and keep them in their case and they last well.
What UV protection do the lenses have?
UV400 filtering, across UVA and UVB.
Is it too small for a wide face?
The lens is cut narrow, so it sits small and close to the eye — which is the whole point of the shape.
Can the fit be adjusted?
The metal arms can be eased gently by an optician. On a rimless build it is worth letting them do it rather than bending it by hand.
Will the silver finish wear?
It is a silver plating, and it keeps its finish best when the pair goes back into its case rather than loose into a bag.
How should it be cleaned?
Rinse under cool water to lift grit, then dry with a soft cloth. Hold the lens by its edge rather than pressing on the face of it.
One colourway, held in a small run
This is a single-run frame rather than a carried line. When the run is gone it is not automatically repeated, and a rimless angular build is not a shape that comes back every season.
Add it to the bag while it is here. If it is not right on your face, send it back — the only thing you risk is missing it.
