Why it costs what it costs
Welt pockets are cut into the coat rather than sewn on top of it, which means slashing a finished panel and binding both edges so they close invisibly. Get it wrong and the panel is scrap; there is no second attempt.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
