Monarch Tempo
Watch
A large round watch with three sub-dials on a woven mesh band. Two colourways.
Water resistant to 3 metres, with a scratch-resistant crystal.
A man-sized face on a fine band
A wide three-sub-dial face normally arrives on a heavy bracelet. Putting one on a fine woven mesh instead takes most of the weight out of it and leaves the scale, which is the whole point: the watch reads big without wearing big.
Photographed in silver. Two colourways are offered.
Round case, three sub-dials, mesh band
The case is round and wide at roughly 40 mm, with a flat brushed bezel and three sub-dials set into the main face. The markers are slim batons rather than numerals, which keeps a busy dial readable.
The band is a fine woven mesh with a sliding clasp, so it sizes to the millimetre without tools. Against a case this wide it reads deliberately understated.
It carries water resistance to 3 metres, a scratch-resistant crystal and a 23 cm band.
How it wears
- A wide round case at roughly 40 mm
- Mesh lies flat, so it carries far less weight than a link bracelet
- A sliding clasp, so the fit is set to the millimetre
- Baton markers keep a three-sub-dial face readable
- Reads technical rather than dressed
The product
Water resistance to 3 metres, a scratch-resistant crystal over the dial, and a 23 cm mesh band. Three metres covers rain and hand-washing; mesh also holds water in the weave, so dry it fully if it gets wet.
Two colourways
Listed at checkout as Silver and Silver Black. The case and mesh band are shared; the dial is what changes.
Why it costs what it costs
A three-sub-dial face has more parts than a plain one and each circle has to be seated square. Woven mesh also costs more to make than a stamped link bracelet.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this watch and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the watch
- Three-sub-dial face rather than a plain printed dial
- Woven mesh band with a sliding clasp
- Scratch-resistant crystal over the dial
- Two colourways at one price

1 × watch · 1 × gift box · 1 × protective cushion
Are the sub-dials a working chronograph?
No. They are a dial design rather than a working chronograph.
How big is the case?
Roughly 40 mm — one of the widest here.
Is it heavy?
Less than the size suggests. A mesh band carries far less weight than a link bracelet.
How is a mesh band sized?
The clasp slides along the mesh and locks where you set it. No links and no tools.
Does it come in a box?
Yes — a gift box with a protective cushion.
How should it be cleaned?
A dry cloth. If the mesh gets wet, dry it fully, because water sits between the strands.
Two colourways, held in a small run
Only two dials are made for this case, and both are stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously.
Pick your colourway above and add it to the bag. If it is not right on your wrist, send it back.
