Crackled Quilt
Zip Hobo
A small structured hobo in an aged, crackled black quilt, with a zip top, a two-tone chain strap and a red lining.
A finish made to look worn in from the first day.
Aged deliberately, so it never has an awkward stage
The surface is crackled and darkened on purpose. A bag finished this way does not have the six months where it looks too new and the six months where it looks scuffed — it starts and stays somewhere in between.
Listed at checkout in black, in one size.
Crackled quilt, two-tone chain
The body is quilted over a crackled, aged surface and built with enough structure to hold a curved shape empty, closing on a zip that runs the length of the top.
The strap mixes a gold chain, a silver chain and a leather band along its run rather than using one metal throughout, and the lining is a bright red against the black.
The finish is a leather look.
How it carries
- A curved body with a zip along the top

The product
An elegant hobo-style silhouette, a spacious interior for daily essentials and a comfortable shoulder carry, for work, travel, shopping and special occasions.

Why it costs what it costs
An aged finish is applied by hand, panel by panel, after the surface is made and before the bag is cut. No two come out identical, which is the whole idea, and it is also why the process cannot be automated down to nothing.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A hand-aged, crackled surface under the quilt
- A strap that mixes two metals and leather
- A zip along the whole top
- One colour, one price

1 × Crackled Quilt Zip Hobo
How big is it?
It is a small shoulder bag.
Why does it look worn already?
The surface is finished to look aged. That is the intended appearance, not damage.
Is the card holder included?
No. A small matching card holder appears in one photograph, but the order is the bag on its own.
What material is it?
The finish is a leather look.
How should it be cleaned?
A soft dry cloth. An aged finish should not be polished, since that flattens the effect it was given.
One colour, held in a small run
This is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously. When it goes it is not automatically repeated.
Add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
