Quilted Drawstring
Hobo — Small
A soft quilted drawstring bag on a chain-and-leather strap, with a chunky chain detail at the shoulder.
Soft-sided, gathered at the top, worn on a chain.
It takes the shape of what you put in it
There is no frame in this one. It slumps when it is light and rounds out when it is full, and the drawstring pulls the top closed over whatever is inside — which is why a soft bag never looks half empty.
Listed at checkout in black. A larger version of the same design is listed separately.
Quilted body, drawstring top
The body is worked in a soft diamond quilt with no stiffening behind it, so the panels fold rather than hold, and the top gathers on a drawstring that runs through the upper edge.
The strap is a gold-tone chain threaded through with leather, with a heavier chain link at the shoulder, so the weight of the bag does not sit on bare metal.
The finish is a leather look.
How it carries
- A soft body with no internal frame
- A drawstring top that gathers closed
- A chain threaded with leather
- A heavier link at the shoulder
- One colour, one size — a larger version is listed separately
The product
An elegant hobo-style silhouette, a spacious interior for daily essentials and a comfortable shoulder carry, for work, travel, shopping and special occasions.
One colour
Listed at checkout in black. The same design is listed separately in a larger size, in beige.
Why it costs what it costs
Threading leather through a chain is done link by link by hand after both are finished. It is the reason a chain strap can be worn on a bare shoulder at all, and it is the first thing left out when a bag is built down to a price.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A quilted body rather than a flat one
- Leather threaded through the chain
- A drawstring top rather than a zip
- One colour, one price

The finish is a leather look.
Is the pouch in the photographs included?
