Crescent Raffia Bag
with a Leather Handle
A crescent-shaped handwoven raffia bag with a curved leather top handle, a zip top and an adjustable strap.
Five colours, one shape — pick the one that matches the summer.
The handle is the structure
A crescent this shallow has nothing holding it open except the curved leather handle across the top. That is why the handle is moulded rather than stitched flat — it is doing the job a frame would do in any other bag.
Five colours are listed at checkout.
Raffia, leather, zip
It has natural raffia with calf leather accents and subtle gold-tone details. The body is handwoven, with a name worked into the front panel in the same fibre, and the top closes on a zip.
An adjustable strap lets it be worn on the shoulder or across the body, in addition to the curved handle over the top.
Unlined, so the weave shows inside as well as out.
How it carries
- A curved leather handle over the top
- An adjustable strap for shoulder or crossbody
- A zip along the top rather than an open mouth
- A handwoven raffia body with leather accents
- Five colours listed at checkout
The product
Natural raffia with calf leather accents. Unlined, lightly structured. Subtle gold-tone details. Zip closure. Adjustable shoulder strap, shoulder or crossbody.
Five colours
Brown, black, light blue, mint green and light pink, each selectable at checkout.
Why it costs what it costs
Raffia takes dye unevenly by nature, so a set of five clean, consistent colours is harder to produce than one natural tone. Every batch has to be matched by eye before it is woven, not after.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Handwoven raffia with calf leather accents
- A moulded handle doing the work of a frame
- Five colours rather than one
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
