Quilted Flap Bag
with a Top Handle
A small pink quilted calf leather flap bag with a rolled top handle, a leather chain strap and a leather lining.
A handle and a chain — three ways to carry one small bag.
The top handle is what makes it work by day
A flap bag on a chain is an evening shape. Add a rolled handle on the top and the same bag can be picked up off a desk, carried into a meeting and set down again without the chain sliding off your shoulder every time.
Structured calf, leather chain
It has structured calf leather outside and a leather lining inside, quilted through, with gold- or champagne-coloured metal and a turn-lock on the flap.
The strap is a chain threaded with leather, worn short on the shoulder or long across the body, and the rolled handle sits over the top of the flap for a hand carry.
How it carries
- A rolled top handle, for the hand
- A leather chain worn short or long
- A turn-lock on the flap rather than a magnet
- A leather lining rather than a textile one
- Structured, so it holds its shape empty

Why it costs what it costs
Threading leather through a chain and rolling a handle over a core are both hand operations that happen after the bag itself is finished. They are the last two hours of work on a piece like this and the first two that get cut when a bag is made to a price.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Calf leather outside, leather lining inside
- A handle and a chain, so it carries three ways
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
