Quilted Canvas
Cargo Drawstring Bag
A large quilted canvas bag that gathers at the top, with cargo pockets on the sides and a chain-and-fabric strap.
Forty centimetres across — this is the one that takes a tablet.
Pockets on the outside change how a bag is used
Everything you reach for twenty times a day — phone, card, keys — lives in the side pockets instead of the bottom of the bag. That is the whole idea behind a cargo layout, and it is why a big soft bag stops being a bin.
Canvas body, chain strap
It has a canvas body with calf leather details, quilted through, and gold-tone metal. The top gathers on a drawstring rather than closing on a zip, and a flap with a magnetic snap sits over it.
Several cargo-style pockets run along the outside for quick access, and the strap is a chain threaded with fabric, adjustable for a shoulder or crossbody carry.
The interior is fully lined.
How it carries
- An adjustable strap — shoulder or crossbody
- Several cargo pockets along the outside
- A drawstring top under a magnetic flap
- A quilted canvas body rather than leather
- Room for a tablet

Why it costs what it costs
Quilting a canvas is not the same job as quilting a leather. Cloth moves under the needle, so the wadding has to be tacked first and the whole panel fed slowly or the diamonds pull out of square. It is why most quilted bags are leather.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Canvas with calf leather details
- Cargo pockets rather than one open compartment
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
