This is an optical frame, not a sunglass. It arrives with clear lenses fitted.
Glasses as the accessory
Everything here is built to be seen rather than to disappear. The cat-eye lifts sharply at the outer corner, the lenses stay clear so nothing is hidden, and the temple is a run of gold-tone chain link rather than a plain arm. It is a frame for people who wear glasses on purpose.

A chain where the arm should be
The front is acetate, cut slim and lifted into a point at the outer corner. From there the temple changes material entirely: a gold-tone chain-link section runs most of the length of the arm before it meets a moulded tip that curves behind the ear.
That change is the whole design. From straight on the frame reads quiet; turn your head and the arm catches light along its entire length, the way a bracelet does.

Clear, and meant to stay that way
Every colourway here is photographed with clear lenses, and that is how the frame ships. It is an optical frame: worn as it comes for the look, or taken to an optician and reglazed to your prescription.
One front, four finishes
Blush Crystal and Crystal Smoke are translucent, so the frame picks up skin tone. Leopard carries the pattern through the acetate. All four use the same gold-tone chain temple.
Why it costs what it costs
A chain-link temple is a built assembly, not a moulded arm: individual links, a hinge at one end and a moulded tip at the other, all of which have to line up and stay tight. That is several times the work of the plastic arm it replaces, and it is the reason this shape usually appears at a much higher price.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a frame like this is not in the price. What that pays for is the temple — the part that makes the frame worth wearing.

Are these sunglasses?
No. The lenses are clear in every colourway. It is an optical frame, worn as it comes or reglazed to prescription.
Can my optician fit my prescription?
Usually, yes. It is a standard full-rim acetate front, which is the easiest type to reglaze. The depth of the cat-eye is what limits stronger varifocals.
Do the chain temples catch in hair?
Less than you would expect. The links are small and lie flat against the head, and there are no open loops. What they do catch is light, which is the point.
What does a translucent frame look like on?
Blush Crystal and Crystal Smoke let light through the acetate, so they pick up skin tone and read much softer than a solid colour at the same size. They are the two that make a sharp cat-eye feel lighter.
Can the fit be adjusted?
An optician can adjust the tip and the hinge angle; the chain section itself is not meant to be bent. The bridge is moulded into the front, so its height is set by the design.
How should it be cleaned?
Cool water and a soft cloth, and dry the chain properly rather than leaving it damp. Keep solvents and alcohol wipes away from the acetate and the plating alike.
