Top-Handle Bag
A burgundy satin calf leather bag with a braided knot across the front, folding handles and a removable strap.
Handles that fold away into the bag when you want a strap.
Three bags in one silhouette
The top handles work upright for a hand carry and fold down into the interior when they are in the way; the strap comes off entirely. So the same piece is a work bag, a shoulder bag and a crossbody, without ever looking like it is trying to be all three.
Satin calf, brass, knot
It has satin calf leather outside, a microfibre suede lining inside and a brass finish on the metal, with a hidden hook closure rather than a visible clasp.
A braided knot runs across the front, and the same braid is repeated on the sides. Inside there is a zip pocket, and the top handles fold into the interior when they are not being used.
How it carries
- Top handles at 11.5 cm high
- Handles that fold down into the interior
- A removable, adjustable strap at approx. 55 cm
- A hidden hook closure, nothing visible
- An interior zip pocket
The product
Satin calf leather outside. Microfibre suede lining. Brass-finish hardware. Hidden hook closure. Interior zip pocket. Height 26 cm, width 34 cm, depth 15 cm. Handle height approx. 11.5 cm. Strap length approx. 55 cm.
One colour
Offered in a deep burgundy. This is the only colour.
Why it costs what it costs
A braided knot is not a fitting that gets attached — the strips are cut from the same hide as the body and plaited by hand, so the grain and the colour run continuously from the panel into the knot. That match is the part that cannot be faked.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
