Fine-Knit
V-Neck Top
A relaxed fine-knit top with a V neck, mid-length sleeves and a curved hem. Nine colours.
The hem is cut on a curve and sits longer at the back. It is meant to be worn out, not tucked.
A fine gauge shows every mistake a chunky one hides
The finer the stitch, the less room there is for a dropped loop or a change in tension, because nothing in the surface distracts the eye. A plain fine knit in a flat colour is the hardest thing on the machine to make look easy.
Relaxed through the body, curved at the hem
This knit top is crafted from premium cotton, soft and breathable, versatile from a relaxed brunch to a layer under a blazer, with mid-length sleeves for coverage without heat.
The top photographed is knitted in a fine gauge with a V neck, a relaxed body, sleeves to just below the elbow and a curved hem that falls longer at the back. Nine colours appear in the gallery.

Why it costs what it costs
A plain top in nine colours is nine dye lots that all have to land clean, because there is no pattern to carry a shade that came out slightly off. It is the least forgiving way to make a simple thing.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the top
- A fine gauge with nowhere to hide a fault
- A curved hem cut to be worn out
- Nine colours, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
