A single faceted orb is set into the dial, standing proud of the surface. It is a jeweller's trick rather than a watchmaker's: put one bright thing on a plain face and the eye goes there first, which makes a small watch read as a piece of jewellery instead of an instrument.

Round case, orb set into the dial
The case is round at roughly 34 mm with a slim polished bezel. The crystal orb is seated into the dial rather than printed or applied flat, so it throws light at an angle.
The bracelet is a link design with a folding clasp. Links come out at a watch shop if it needs sizing.

Why it costs what it costs
Seating a faceted orb into a dial so that it stands proud and stays square is a setting operation, not a printing one — and on a dial this size there is no room to get it slightly wrong.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this watch and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.

Can the orb come loose?
It is seated into the dial rather than glued on the surface. Hard knocks are what loosen a setting, so keep it off door frames.
