One letter, sized up
A single raised initial sits at the centre of the dial, large enough that it is the first thing read. Around it the bezel is set with small stones. Between the two there is nothing else on the face — which is what stops a 4.5 cm dial from looking busy.

The case is stainless steel that does not discolour, with a dial measuring 4.5 cm across. A line of small stones runs around the bezel, and a large raised initial is applied at the centre of the dial rather than printed on it.
The bracelet is a steel link design stated at 23 cm long and 2.1 cm wide, adjustable by removing links.

Why it costs what it costs
A raised initial is a separate part seated onto the dial rather than ink on it, and the bezel setting is a hand operation. Stainless steel also costs more than plated brass and does not discolour at the clasp.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this watch and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
