Versatile Sunglasses
An oversized square in light acetate, with a metal plate set into each temple. Seven colourways — the widest choice in the range.
Polarised lenses with anti-glare treatment and full UV400 filtering.
Large, and lighter than it looks
The proportion here is oversized — a tall square lens carried well past the outer corner of the eye — but the acetate is kept thinner than most frames this size use. That is the whole trick: you get the coverage of a big pair without the weight sitting on the bridge all day.
Photographed here in the nude finish. Seven colourways are offered on the same front.
Thin front, metal temple plate
The front is moulded acetate, cut square with a slight taper at the outer edge and carried beyond the lens on every side — but not so far that the frame turns heavy. Seven finishes run through the range, from a solid black to a translucent coral and a teal.
Each temple carries a raised metal plate set into the outer face behind the hinge, and the arm runs back flat from there. The hardware is the only thing on the frame that is not acetate.
The frame is acetate with a lightweight build for extended wear.
Where it sits
- An oversized square that covers well past the outer corner of the eye
- Thinner acetate than most frames this size, so the weight stays low
- A moulded acetate bridge, so the height on the nose is fixed rather than adjustable
- Flat temples sit close to the head rather than standing off it
- Reads large on any face, which is the look rather than a fit issue
Filtered, not just tinted
The lenses are polarised with an anti-glare treatment and full UV400 filtering across UVA and UVB. Polarisation is what removes the flat white shine off a wet road, a windscreen or open water; UV400 is the protection figure, and it is the number worth reading on any pair.
Most of the seven are gradients, darker at the top and clearing towards the bottom; the white and the black finishes carry a flatter grey.
Seven colourways, one front
Black I and Black II share the black front and differ in the lens tint. The order above matches the options on the product.
Why it costs what it costs
Seven finishes on one frame is a stocking decision rather than a manufacturing one: every colour has to be cut, finished and held in inventory separately, which is why most ranges stop at three. A polarised lens costs more than a tint on top of that.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between the frame and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a build like this is simply not in the price. What that money pays for instead is the choice — seven colourways at one price, all with the same polarised UV400 lens.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the frame
- Polarised, UV400 lenses rather than a plain tint
- Moulded acetate front rather than a thin printed plastic one
- Metal plate set into the temple rather than printed on it
- Seven colourways at one price

Is this a large frame?
Yes. It is cut oversized on purpose — the lens carries past the outer corner of the eye. What is unusual is the weight: the acetate is thinner than most frames this size use.
Are the nose pads adjustable?
No. The bridge is moulded into the acetate front, so the height on the nose is fixed. An optician can warm and reshape acetate slightly, but not the way metal pads adjust.
What does polarised actually change?
It removes the flat glare that bounces off horizontal surfaces — wet tarmac, a car bonnet, water, snow. Colours look deeper and you squint less. It is separate from UV filtering, which this lens also carries at UV400.
What is the difference between the two black options?
They share the black front and differ in the lens tint — one is a purple gradient, the other a flatter grey-brown. They are listed as Black I and Black II.
Will the white and coral finishes mark?
A pale or bright frame shows a mark more readily than black, but it is surface only and lifts with the cloth supplied. A case rather than a bag is what makes the difference.
How should it be cleaned?
Rinse under cool water to lift grit, then dry with the cloth supplied. Keep acetate away from heat — a car dashboard in summer is what warps a frame, not wear.
Seven colourways, and not many of each
Seven finishes is a lot to hold, so each run is small. The coral and the teal are the two that go first, and when a colourway goes it is not always brought back.
Pick your colourway above and add it to the bag. If it is not right on your face, send it back — the only thing you risk is missing the one you wanted.
