Faux-Fur
House Slippers
Closed-toe mule slippers lined in faux fur, on a plush insole. Six colours.
A closed toe and an open back. It is the whole point.
A slipper is a mule or it is a shoe
Closing the back turns a slipper into something you have to put on properly. Leaving it open means you step in and out without bending down, which is the difference between a slipper you actually wear round the house and one that stays under the bed.
Faux fur inside, closed toe outside
A faux fur lining and a plush insole, in a closed-toe mule with a plain upper, an indoor slipper.
The gallery holds six colours, named red, beige, dark grey, khaki, light grey and pink.

Why it costs what it costs
The insole is where a slipper is won or lost. A thin one flattens inside a month and the slipper becomes a sock with a sole; a plush one keeps its loft, which is why it costs more to build and why it is the thing worth asking about.
