Woven Knot Bag
A medium woven suede bag with a knotted handle and no hardware at all. Six colours.
Suede, woven, with the handle knotted rather than fixed with hardware.
The knot is the hardware
There is no clasp, no buckle and no ring on this bag. The handle is tied in a knot at one end, which is the only thing holding the shape — and it is why the bag reads soft from every angle instead of hard at the join.
Shown here in cream. Six colours are offered.
Woven suede, knotted handle
The body is suede cut into strips and woven, with a soft slouch that changes shape as the bag fills. The handle passes through and knots, so there is no metal anywhere on the outside.
It is the medium size in this shape. The same design is made in a mini as well.
How it carries
- A knotted handle rather than a fixed one
- Woven suede, which softens rather than creases
- No metal on the outside to scratch or tarnish
- Carried in the hand or hooked over the shoulder
- Six colours, from cream to coffee
The product
Suede, woven, with a knot detail. It is made for dinners and everyday wear, and offers the same shape in a mini size.
Six colours
Listed at checkout as Creme, Grey, Burgundy, Beige, Olive Green and Coffee. The weave, the knot and the size are the same in all six.
Why it costs what it costs
Weaving suede is harder than weaving a coated leather, because suede grips itself and has to be fed under even tension or the panel puckers. A knotted handle also has to be cut long enough to tie and still hold.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- Woven suede rather than a printed texture
- A knotted handle with no metal fittings
- Six colours at one price
- The same shape is made in a mini size

1 × Audrey Woven Knot Bag
How big is it?
This is the medium size; a mini is made in the same shape.
Is there a clasp?
No. The bag has no hardware at all — the handle knots and the body holds itself.
Is it real suede?
Yes. The material is suede.
Will it hold its shape?
It is designed to slouch. The shape changes with what is inside it.
Which colour is the safest choice?
Coffee or grey. The olive green and the burgundy are the two that read as a decision.
How should it be cleaned?
A soft dry brush, worked along the weave. Suede does not take a damp cloth well.
Six colours, held in a small run
A woven suede body is slow to make, so this is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously.
Pick your colour above and add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
