Quilted Denim
Puffer Bag
A soft washed-denim puffer bag with suede trim, on a chain with a leather insert.
Denim, padded, with a chain. It is meant to be worn in daylight.
Padding is what makes denim behave like leather
Left flat, denim creases along every fold and never recovers. Quilting it over wadding turns the creases into part of the pattern instead, which is the only way a fabric this stiff ends up with a soft, rounded shape.
Quilted denim, suede-trimmed
It has a quilted denim with suede details at the edges and on the strap, a textile lining with a zip pocket and antique-gold metal.
The closure is a magnetic snap, and the chain carries a leather detail so it can be worn on the shoulder or across the body.
How it carries
- A chain strap with a leather detail
- On the shoulder or across the body
- A magnetic snap closure
- A textile lining with a zip pocket
- Width 32 cm, depth 12 cm
The product
Exterior: quilted denim with suede details at the edges and straps. Lining: textile with a zip pocket. Metal: antique gold with a monogram. Closure: magnetic snap. Chain strap with a leather detail, worn on the shoulder or across the body. Width 32 cm, height 23 cm, depth 12 cm.
One colour
Offered in a washed blue denim with suede trim. This is the only colour.
Why it costs what it costs
Denim fades where it is handled, so every panel on a bag like this has to come from the same part of the same roll or the front and the back will age at different rates. Matching a wash across six panels wastes more fabric than it uses.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
