Chevron Quilted
Chain Bag
A small black sheepskin bag in chevron quilting, on a chain that doubles from 108 to 56 cm.
Double the chain and it sits at the elbow.
Chevron rather than diamond
A chevron runs the quilting into a V at the centre seam, which means the two halves of the front have to be cut as mirror images and stitched so the lines meet exactly. A diamond pattern forgives a millimetre of drift. A chevron does not.
Sheepskin, chevron-quilted
It has 100% sheepskin with chevron quilting, a cotton canvas lining with an interior pocket, gold-plated metal and a magnetic flap closure.
The chain carries a leather insert across the shoulder and is about 56 cm doubled or about 108 cm long, for crossbody wear.
The flat envelope pouch shown alongside the bag is a styling piece and is not included.
How it carries
- A chain at approx. 56 cm doubled or 108 cm long
- A leather insert where it crosses the shoulder
- A magnetic flap closure
- A cotton canvas lining with an interior pocket
- Width 23 cm, depth 9 cm

Why it costs what it costs
The leather insert in the chain is there for one reason: a bare metal chain cuts into a shoulder within about twenty minutes. Threading leather through the links by hand costs more than leaving them bare, and it is the difference between a bag you wear and one you carry.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
