Shoulder Bag
A glazed leather barrel bag on a single shoulder strap, zipped along the top. Three colours.
A glazed finish, which is polished rather than matt.
A shape that holds itself
A barrel bag keeps its form whether it is full or empty, which is the opposite of a slouch bag and the reason this one reads sharp under the arm. The zip runs the length of the top rather than across it.
Shown here in tan. Three colours are offered.
Glazed leather, top zip, short strap
The body is glazed leather — polished rather than matt, so it catches light along the length of the barrel. The base is flat and the ends are cut round.
The strap is a single band, short enough to sit under the arm rather than across the body, and the zip runs the full length of the top.
How it carries
- A barrel shape that holds its form full or empty
- A glazed finish rather than a matt one
- A zip along the length of the top
- A single short strap, worn under the arm
- Three colours: tan, black and cream
The product
Glazed leather, in a shoulder bag made for evening outings, dinners and everyday use.
Three colours
Listed at checkout as Brown, Black and Creme. The shape, the strap and the zip are the same in all three.
Why it costs what it costs
A glazed finish hides nothing: the panels have to be cut without a stretch mark, because a polished surface shows every ripple that a matt one would swallow.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag

- A barrel shape that holds its form

1 × Brooklyn Shoulder Bag
Will it go across the body?
No. The strap is short and sits under the arm.
Does it keep its shape?
Yes. The barrel holds its form whether the bag is full or empty.
Which colour is the safest choice?
Black. The cream is the one that shows marks first.
How should it be cleaned?
A damp cloth and then dry. A glazed surface takes that well.
Three colours, held in a small run
This is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously. When a colour goes it is not automatically repeated.
Pick your colour above and add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
