Pearl-Set Mini
Quilted Bag
A champagne calfskin mini bag with pearls hand-set into the quilting, a top handle and a 110 cm chain.
A pearl at every point where the quilting crosses.
The quilting is the grid the pearls sit on
Every intersection of the diamond quilting carries a pearl, so the embroidery follows the stitching exactly — one line out and the whole grid reads crooked. It is worked before the panel is cut, which means a mistake costs the panel rather than the stitch.
Calfskin, hand-set pearls
It has a calfskin with hand-worked pearl embroidery, a fine leather lining with an interior pocket, gold-plated metal with a high-gloss finish and a flap on a magnetic closure.
A short leather handle carries it in the hand, and a removable, adjustable chain strap is about 110 cm for a crossbody carry. Lettered metal charms hang from the right-hand fitting.

- A short leather handle, height approx. 8 cm
- A removable, adjustable chain at approx. 110 cm
- A flap on a magnetic closure
- A fine leather lining with an interior pocket
- Height 17 cm, depth 7 cm

Offered in a champagne calfskin with hand-set pearls. Plain versions of the same shape are listed separately.
Why it costs what it costs
Pearl embroidery is priced by the hour and there is no machine for it on a shaped panel. It is also why no two are quite identical: the setting follows the hand that made it, not a file.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
