Crescent Bag
in Coated Canvas
A flat crescent bag in monogram coated canvas, with a leather strap and a chain that detaches.
Four hundred grams, and four different ways to wear it.
A chain that comes off is worth two bags
With the chain on it is an evening bag; with it off and the leather strap adjusted it is a crossbody; looped over the wrist it is a clutch. That is one purchase covering three occasions, which is unusual at 400 grams.
Coated canvas, cowhide trim
It has a coated canvas with cowhide leather trim, a soft microfibre lining and gold-tone metal, closing on a zip along the top.
There is one flat pocket inside. The leather strap is adjustable and the chain detaches, so it goes on the shoulder, across the body, in the hand or round the wrist.
How it carries
- An adjustable leather strap
- A chain that detaches
- Shoulder, crossbody, hand or wrist
- A zip along the top
- Approx. 0.4 kg

Why it costs what it costs
A crescent has two curves running in opposite directions and a zip that has to follow the outer one without buckling. Coated canvas will not ease the way leather does, so the panel has to be cut exactly right the first time.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
