Dome Bag
in Coated Canvas
A small structured dome bag in monogram coated canvas with natural leather trim and a double zip.
Five hundred grams, and it stands up on its own.
The trim starts pale and does not stay that way
The natural leather on the handles and the base is untreated, so it begins almost white and darkens with handling into a deep honey. That is the point of it: the bag records how much it has been used rather than pretending it has not been.
Coated canvas, natural leather
It has a monogram coated canvas with natural leather trim, a textile lining and gold-coloured metal including a lock, closing on a double zip that runs over the dome.
A removable, adjustable shoulder strap is about 115 cm, so it works as a handbag or across the body, with a handle drop of about 24 cm. The whole bag is about 500 grams.
How it carries
- A removable strap, adjustable approx. 115 cm
- A handle drop of approx. 24 cm
- A double zip over the dome
- A lock in gold-coloured metal
- Approx. 500 g

Why it costs what it costs
A dome is the hardest shape in bag-making: the two sides are curved in both directions at once, and the zip has to travel over the top of that curve without pulling. Every panel is cut on a template that only works for this one size.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
