There is no frame and no base panel here. The bag folds where it is loaded and flattens where it is not, which is why it looks different every time it is put down — and why it holds far more than a structured bag of the same cut.

Faux suede, no frame
The body is faux suede, soft enough to fold on itself, cut long and deep with a single wide shoulder strap that is part of the body rather than attached to it.
There is no rigid base, so the bag collapses flat when it is empty and opens out as it fills.

An unstructured bag has nothing to hide behind: the seams carry all the weight, so the stitching has to be right along every edge that a frame would normally support.
